Background : I got this unicorn a couple of months ago - 2010 535xi touring 6MT, 53K miles, but due to nagging tendonitis on both elbows that won't go away, I haven't been able to do much other than washing (couldn't wax) and swapping out the shifter with a shorter ZHP.

While waiting for complete recovery, I'm looking for square setup 18" rims. My wagon is black (black sapphire metallic) and came with 17" stock rims.
The ride is rather comfortable with those, and not sure if I'll like 19" ride based on what I read, so I'm planning on going only to 18". I'm partial to 135m rims and other double spoke rims, but not limited.

Are there other 18" that people recommend? Pictures would be helpful. Since my wagon is black, I'd rather not have the rims dark. They don't need to be chrome either. Btw, I'm a family man and not young anymore, so I shouldn't go too wild.

Other mods in mind - steering wheel swap with something thicker (m-sport happens to fit the bill). Bumpers/side skirts are on the list, but not high yet. Comfort-seat conversion will definitely have to wait till I can lift heavy items without issues.
