Quick update...
I bought the M172 rims, so that's mod number 1 sorted.
I've decided against removing the roof rails, simply because I now prefer the look with the rails. I probably just needed to get used to the look of the Touring and not try to make it more like an E60![Laughing](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/laughing.gif)
I had a close-up look at matt-black grills on a Carbon Black E60 at the weekend and didn't like the way it blended with the dark blue. It somehow looked better on the pics here in the forum, maybe because it was a closer black-black match? I've decided my oem full chrome grills are a better combination / contrast and will stick with those. Maybe sometime in the future I will consider a colour-matched (Carbon Black) grill...![Think](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/think.gif)
The Dension gateway is still a maybe and I've now added Remapping to the list of wanted mods... but after my BMW Used Car Guarantee has finished!
I'm expecting my future mod list to change again... maybe even by the end of today

.. think19" M6 replicas but havent ask yet sellers have they this rims wich fit to E61 Xdrive.
You may struggle with a staggered set-up on the E61 because of the space the rear air suspension needs, but you could maybe go for 4 front wheels?
You could ask "too solid" where he bought his or ask the guys at Trinity Motorsport for a quote (they are active members and have supplied Miro rims to others here).

I am also a fan of the chrome kidneys - it was the first mod I have done to my past four BMW Tourings.

I have a few other issues that need to be sorted, so I will get them taken care of at once.

Thanks for the link -- you are right, a Google search would have been a smart approach ![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/rolleyes.gif)
So its all about getting more precise data than the board computer and iDrive, right?

Quite right you are. For example water temp, boost (after remap), tranny temp (after remap), Manifold Air Flow, at the top of the list.

LOL, yes, tires are probably a good idea...
I just need to be convinced about which tire to get. Time to do some research!
Holy crap! That is a major bummer about your ROOF! WTF?!
But yeah, undoubtedly, they would give you a very good deal on removing the rails! Probably a perfect time to have it done as well.

What happened to xBMWx?s roof?!
My planned mods if i don?t sell the car this year:
- paint my M166 wheels black!
I don?t have anything more planned in this time to come!
