My Ride: Jan 2006 E63 650i Sport . Options: Sport version (includes: sport-seats, sport-suspension, M-Sport steering wheel, Anthracite headliner, Shaddow Line), Saphire Black, Black Dakota Leather, Anthracite Maple Wood trim, Steptronic Auto, Xenons, NAV-Professional with Voice Control, TV, CD-Changer, Bluetooth, Logic7, Head-up Display, Comfort Access, Seat Heating front, Auto Dimming & Folding Mirrors, Extended Auto Air Conditioning, PDC. . Mods: Spacers 5mm front & 15mm rear . Wheels: 20" Alpina Softline (Classic) with Dunlop Sport Maxx non-RFT (255/35/20 & 285/30/20)
Default

This car caught my eye and I thought I would take a few pics with my phone-camera, hence low def pics.

I think the wheels look great on the car. The combination of the m-sport pack, no roof rails, rear window tints and the 19 inch Alpina Classic rims gives it a more purposeful and wider look. Unfortunately the tow-hook on the back kind of kills it!

What do you think -- nice alternative to the BMW OEM rims??

Looks a bit weird. Are you sure they 19's???? They look smaller. If they were bigger, it should be nice.

Hi G-J, I know what you mean. The pics look ok on my phone's screen, but when I look at them here it somehow doesn't look right. I'm pretty sure they are the original 19s. I checked some pics on the Alpina web site and the wheels also look smaller than 19s in some of the pics. In real life they look much better. Alpina also offer the Classic rim in 20", which is naturally the best choice -- wouldn't want your rims to look too small!!

I like them - but then I've always liked those Alpina wheels.

Don't like the lack of roof rails though.

Can't explain why other than it doesn't look quite right.
