Speeder asembly

Hallo fellow E61 drivers
I need some help.
I am changing my pedels to the original M-tech stainless steel type. It has gone without any trouble with the cluch and brake pedal. I have also got the speeder lose from the floor and the special holder. The problems is that the wire to the connector is so short, that I cant see the lock mecanisme for the connector. Is there anybody that have a picture or know what to do to get it lose.
I have tried to look in the TIS and Bentley's manual, and they give no clue.
