Nice car you have!
What is your experience on electric boot lid? Have you got any problems with ice or snow for example?

Thanks

I'm glad i ordered the car with auto-bot lid operation. No problems with snow or/and ice. Auto-bot lit operation is worth the money.

I will trust in you. It must be worth money if you need to open your boot every now and then. I can self proof it after two weeks when I'll get my new one. I just wondered sometimes wet snow can really freeze into extremely hard ice and cover your doors. It has happened to me few times with sedan. Do you think there is a possibility to burn or otherwise break the electric motor or gear if the lid is frozed?
Btw can you still open it manually if needed?

Very nice. I very much like both the color combination and your wheels. Enjoy!

Tommi:
I'm not sure it is possible to burn or otherwise break the electric engine of the lid if it is frozen. If the electric engine will be damaged because the snow and ice, BMW have to repair it for free.. I have bought a car for Norwegian climate and the car have to work inn all weather. I can't open it manually, but i can open the back window manually if it is frozen.

Iversonm:
Thanks. I like the color combination too. Black high gloss interior trim looks perfect with black interior.. I love it.

It's a really pity that there is no possibility for manual operation, because automatic opens tailgate too slow. Even this not a first time when I give criticism about automated tailgate, it's really good feature at wintertime. You does not have to touch messy tailgate at all.

I'm sure that there are good protection systems, which recognize if tailgate is frozen. I have tried to close it when I have had a bit too much load in and tailgate stopped immediately when it hit first obstacle.

I thinking about 35mm H&R lowering in front. It's air-suspension at the rear.
I wonder where to get just springs for the front... how can you lower the back? is it done just by reprograming the car? or somehow manually on rear axle?
