you can either:

A. retrofit CCC, CIC, or NBT ('upgrade the whole computer')
B. install an interface that allows you to run navigation and bluetooth through your existing system

neither one is cheap per-say, and both require varying levels of disassembly. there is plenty of information available on the internets to help you decide.

good luck.

you have the non-nav i-drive business "M-ASK" system with the smaller screen

"CCC" is the DVD-based nav system that was used until about 2007 and has the larger/wider screen.

"CIC" is a hard-drive based nav system that started in 2008 and has a quicker interface.

"NBT" or "CIC-HIGH" was introduced in late 2012.

Yes- but if you're going to go through the trouble of a retrofit, why not get the newer CIC system?

yah, not to be rude, but if you've gotten far enough as registering on this forum and posting in the appropriate section, you should be capable of googling all this information.
