1st post bit of a lurker while selecting my specification
I am just about to pull the trigger on my E61.
Not wanting stuff to roll around in the back I was wondering what other members do?
If you don't have the storage pack how do you secure items? Bungee's, Crates etc?
If you do have the storage back please explain if it is really as good an idea as it looks?
I like the idea of the locking standard storage (for laptop etc). Does the storage pack still allow locking?
Thanks in advance.

Yes it still allow locking.
Personally I would go for one of the alternatives in the separate Options catalogue. There are some good stuff to be bought that will help you more than the factory option, which I find a bit too clumsy.

Personally I wouldn't go for the Storage Pack, but on the other hand is a small cost in comparison to the rest so... up to you, Al!

Personally I keep two bits if light rope permanently tied to the front tie down eyes - sized so they are just short enough not to jam in the tailgate.
Also, as light beige interior, have clear plastic carpet cover on boot floor to avoid marks. Then always tie things in with the ropes - perfect
