Default SAT Flash

Hi,

Can anyone explain about the SAT Flash? I did some research and still confuse!!
I have a 2008 535xi wagon. Do I need to add the "sport" button?
If I do not want to switch from sport to normal, normal to sport, so I do not need to add the Sport button retrofit? Is there a way I can DIY?

The flash and the button are two different things.. they are definitely meant to go together, but you can certainly have one without the other..
