Guys

I need some roof bars and a boot protector for my wifes 530d E61 Touring.
I've checked the BMW website and nothing. Any one know where I can get these from. I'm in the UK but don't mind where they come from.

Thanks and great forum

Paul

Your dealer can order the roof bars for you.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll give them a call.
On another note it has the prof phone system and I wondered if one can use the bluetooth function to register other phones onto it?
Also it has the prof nav and when in the entertainment option it shows DVD but it's not lit up. Does this only function if the TV option is chosen or is there a way to activate it so dvd's can be watched?

Cheers Paul

From what I've understood it's possible to add bluetooth devices such as headsets and stuffs like that. The DVD player is not lit up until you inserts a music disc in to the DVD player.

I got the boot protector from BMW, brilliant since my dakota beige gets dirty by even looking at it. Only disadvantage is that you'll need an extra rubber mat because the plastic is very slippery. Everything in you boot slides everywhere while driving!

And you make me curious...If your wife has a E61, what's you car?

Guys

Thanks for the replies. Interesting question  My wife and three children are my life so to put them in any lesser car regarding safety would just be mad. I drive a Ford Mondeo 1998 as I can not afford anything better after the purchase of the 530D.
At least I get to drive it when we go out!

Cheers Paul
