Removing Interior rear lights above doors
 

Hi
I was wondering if someone can let me know how to remove the interior rear lights that are above the rear doors (2006 BMW e61) as i want to replace them with LED - i do not want to force them out and risk breaking them.... any tips would be appreciated.

They are stuck in pretty hard with a metal attachment thingy so you want to pop them out with pretty strong force. I do not remember which side (front or rear side of the lamp casing), but by wiggling in one of those indoor trim removal tools or a driver you can pop them out.
