I had my 525d Touring remapped by DMS. Now If I upgrade the firmware to the latest version will the DMS program dissapear?
More importantly how can I ever be sure that is not replaced if I cannot feel the difference in performance?

First off, welcome on board and enjoy the forums

A (full) BMW firmware upgrade will overright your remap, however I believe DMS off a free reload of your remap. Best check with them first of all.

As for not feeling the difference in performance, no way!! I have had my 530d remapped to similar levels offered by DMS and you certainly feel the difference If you cannot feel the difference, then you need to have your car checked by DMS to see if the remap was successfully carried out in hte first place.
