Hi all, did some searching and the online manual was not helpful,so how do i engage the rear wiper? i tried just about every movement on the front wiper control stick.. i think i have a problem.. the cap is missing at the base of the wiper.

Push the stalk towards the front of the car.

did that the rear window juss gets wetter not clearer..

in that case you probably have a problem with the wiper. worst case scenario is your cables going into the trunk door are damaged at the hinge - search the forum for this and you will find lots of info

gee, how many ways can you push the stalk forward

since there aren't too many ways, I'd keep checking that - stalk control failure looming maybe

Make sure the wiper is free to move. Mine had seized up from salt and other crap. Whilst the motor is overload protected, best not to let it go on for too long. Lift the tailgate glass to check freedom of movement - I had to apply oil as close as possible to the outer spindle where it goes into the bearing and work it till it became free.

The worst case scenario is that described by mmitev.
