1st post

Just bought an e61 525d sport. Very pleased with it but plan a few tweaks.

Got a remap lined up for next week and a 545i short shifter due any day!

The rear is sitting a fair bit higher than the front and I heard a couple of ways to lower it. One is via diagnostics and the other is adjusting the sensors.

I'd like to keep this DIY and so if anyone has more details on how to do this I'd like to set it myself. I've read a post on this forum that mentions it but there isn't any clear photo's of where the sensors are or how to adjust them.

Got a pic here but it might not show up the difference. It seems a tad higher on the LHS too.

I'm assuming this diagram shows the parts I will need to locate. Or is this just for xenon level?

Looks to me like items 6 (ride sensor) and 7 (bracket) that I need to locate and work out how to adjust.

I'm going to try this tomorrow and will take lots of photo's in case anyone else in future is looking to do this. Hope it goes to plan!
