Default Radio problems

Hi, i’ve been running into problems with my radio, it does not give any sound no warning pings does any one have any ideas what could be wrong?

My Ride: E61. all of the options that were available.

what version of the radio do you have? does it behave like it should, just no sound coming out? it could be the amplifier. i believe only DSP (HiFi Professional, 677) version of the audio talks with the head unit. the normal audio is just an amplifier.

Nope no sound at all, it has a ccc unit not sure if it has logic 7

I have this same issue. Local dealer quote me $1600+ for a new head unit and $250 for programming

I was hoping someone else has just pulled a head unit from a wrecked vehicle and swapped it themselves. I've found them on ebay for $280-$300, and that's a lot better than paying $1600+ for "new" 11 year old technology....
