Thanks to all for the positive input, i am very glad that i finally installed the kit. Had it boxed up here for 10 weeks now, so it was about time.
It's always good to get positive feedback when making relatively big changes to the car.

One thing that surprises me is that people are really looking at the car now, whether they get passed or when i'm filling it up at the gas station!
And I thought only people active on E60 could tell the difference.

@offshore:

Can I have a link to your pics?

looks awsome for the wagon really sets it apart from the rest maybe my wifey may like it instead of the xc90 we plan to buy.

I had one of the first XC90's in Holland (T6, full options).
Beatifull car and perfect for those who are in need of space.
But..... I traded the car because my relationship with the dealer was on first name basis... of all the people who worked there...
Every 2-3 weeks I had to come in for repairs and recalls, and ALL the XC90's had minor to major faults.
Basically Volvo makes very nice cars (IMO) and put them on the market without proper testing (I had the same with an early V70), at volvo's testing is done by the customers.....

After 14 months I traded the car for a X5, no problems, no repairs, squeeks, just plain driving with 'freude am fahren' (sheer driving pleasure).

Every brand has it's lemon cars, but BMW really makes a better product (for example: the tranny of a T6 cannot handle the momentum the engine generates, so volvo reduced the engine torque by manipulating the engine management for the first and second gear. The X5 tranny for a 3.0d MY2002 could handle about 500 NM, the engine generates about 400 NM)

Changing cars in such a short time was costing me a lot of money, so I couldn't restrain myself with telling you this story.
Just trying to be of help

Greetz,
Hans.
