My Ride: Collected Sept 2009 - BMW E90 M3, Silverstone II, Novillo Black leather, 19" M Double-Spoke alloys, High Beam Assist, Electronic Damper Control, Voice Control, PDC, USB, DAB, High Gloss Shadowline, Sliding armrest, Trim Finishing in aluminium grey.

Very nice. And there was no need to use yellow paint on the front and rear license tags just for the photograph.

I personally prefer the cleaner rear bumper over the sport one so if I hadn't bought/obtained one already I reckon I'd leave it as it is. On the saloon, it looks to me as if they tried too hard to make it sporty.

I notice that you did not include the rear bumper - did you only buy the
front bumper and side-skirts.

btw. I actually prefer the non-M rear bumper

Me too. I'm glad I got a chance to see a car combining the stock rear bumper with the rest of the M bodywork.

I too use to prefer the stock rear, but now I think the m-rear just goes with the package.

Sadly, I've yet to see it in person.

That's a beaut!

Too bad there is not third-row seat...I would consider it in place of an SUV!

Yeah, the whole "guest" postings piss me off. I've said many times that people should have to register to start a topic AND reply to one. It's just stupid.

You are right about the guest thing. Some people use it as a cover.
On the other hand this guest gives an opinion to my question. Not very subtle though.
If someone doesn't like the E61 or stations in general I don't feel insulted cos there is nothing personal about that. No offense taken.
In the end it is me who asking for an opinion.

Due to lack of time i left out mounting the rear bumper. It came with the kit so i'll probably put it on next week.
To be honest i like it more and more as it is at the moment. And there's some people in here too agree with that.
The rounder lines of the intended bumper match the lines of the kit better. The original matches better to the rear lines of the car (like the little spoiler on the 61)

I will just mount the bumper from the package and put the pics side by side.....
Since i have them both it is always possible to undo (ctrl z)

My Ride: 545 SMG Individual interior, all options except Nav & HUD.

I have the exact same exterior but its a sedan and not a wagon....kept the 124 wheels & rear bumper (love the bespoke look)......you really have great taste, even if I say so myself.

I retrofitted the M kit front & sides because I did not want all those plastic bits & pieces that say "M" all over the place....our cars are not "M" so why pretend...besides, I got individual interior...even more bespoke.

Now I just have to get my hands on a BB exhaust and my debadged 545 will finally snarl like the beast it is.

Cheers
