Can you fit 19inch 167 to uk spec M-Sport e61. Standard fit is 135.

Do you need spacers, what size and are they safe, or is it better as above with front wheels all round.

you can fit 167 on an e61 like i did. Your best bet is to take the 8,5 et12 for the fronts and 9,5 et 17 for the rear. If you take the 9,5 et 28 for the rear, then you need atleast 11mm spacers per side.

If you go to to tirerack.com, you can see any wheel they carry on virtually any car on their website and in differing sizes too!

To anyone who's interested:

Take a look at http://felgenkatalog.auto-treff.com/ for a styling overview of all BMW-rims.

It's possible to narrow down the selection by selecting "5er E60" at the "Baureihe"-selection box.

The site is in German, but very interesting because for every rim, the possible BMW model is listed, the different tyres suitable for the rim, ET, etc.

Thanks Tom! I just went for the 128's as I wanted some 19" winter rims that were easy to maintain -- I did not give it that much thought, but am now over the moon with them :D They really fit the m-sport look spot-on. IMHO they also look pretty slick/classy for a 5 spoke rim -- I normally find 5 spoke rims look quite agressive, such as the M167's.

I think the 128's are also typically cheaper than the other OEM rims and also soooo much easier to clean than the M166 or M172 rims! The 128's probably stand out a little more, but are also more unique as most m-sport 5ers have OEM "multi-spoke" 18" or 19" rims.

That all being said, the M166's are still #1 for me

Good luck choosing...
cheers, Pete

Hi Pete,

I know you use the 128's as a winter rim, and that the M166's are you all-time favorite :D , but do you think the 128's are worth considering for a summer setup ?

I currently have the M135's on my M-sport Touring and would consider using those in the future for winter purposes and using the larger 19" 128's as summer rims with a set of very decent non-RFT's on 'em

Djeezes, it is so difficult deciding on rims. Every time you think, "OK, I've made up my mind", you see new pics of a different set of rims  This forum is great, but since it is an unlimited source of information new things and pics keep turning up making the choice more difficult

Anyways, thanks for your feedback !

Tom.

I think that 128?s for summer wheels will look just fine.
I was close to get som of those my self!
Saw a staggered set in an ad last summer here in Sweden but didn?t want to use spacers in the rear!
And Salesafter had almost the same price for new ones... :|

The M135?s will look great as winter wheels!
Got Good Year Extreme winter tyres on my M135?s :)
