Hello all,
After nearly 5 years of ownership, it is time to bid good-bye to my much loved 2008xit. I have put it up for sale on AutoTrader if anyone is interested. Just under 70,000 miles, I'm asking $23,900 for it. I have enjoyed the car tremendously and I can say it has been my favorite car to date. I have done some work on it, M5 replica bumper, OEM m-tech side skirts, 19"M6 replica wheels with 245/40 all around. The car is a black sapphire with a tan/black interior. Very clean and well maintained. New Turbos at 50K (replaced due to waste gate ratting noise), Thrust arm bushings, Water Pump replaced last winter and very frequent oil changes. I hate to part with it
I have to say that I have enjoyed this forum immensely, it has been so helpful and insightful.

It was not an easy decision. With the exception of the AMG E Class wagon ($$$), you really can't find a sports wagon like this anymore in the States... Thing is there is nothing mechanically wrong with the car since all major known issues with the N54 engine and x-drive have been addressed already by dealer so who ever ends up buying it should feel pretty confident. I have two other cars and really need to downsize. This one has the most miles so it made sense to let it g
.
BMW should have imported the F11 to the States, I would buy one immediately. I know the past E61 did not sell well, which justifies their decision not to bring it over (not that the F07 GT is doing really any better - hate it!). The E61 has become a pretty rare car here and the right mods really makes it look great. I would take a sporty wagon over any SUV.
