Hello guys, I'm new here. I was reading forum but didn't find any solution for my problem. So...
My panoramic sunroof is not opening, shield under the glass also not moving. I can open/close glass manually but shield is always closed. I checked the button - its good, I checked the motor, also good, fuses also good.
If I press and hold the button to reset, nothing happening...
Can I get any suggestion where to look next :/

I'm willing to bet it is off the tracks or the "hook" isn't in place. Have someone operate the sunroof while you stand overtop and look; I'm sure you'll be able to see what's wrong

I think problem is deeper, something with wiring, becouse if I unscrew the motor from it location, but keep wires connected and pressing the button, also nothing happens. So I think my first job is to do that motor will work when I press the button.
Sorry, didnt write that I testes motor from other 12V source.
Ofc correct me if I’m wrong.

If the motor is working and you can open it manually then seems to me the there's something not connected between the two.
Are you saying the motor does not run when it's bolted down only when unbolted. If that's the case you have a ground issue that needs to be found. Those are the only two things that can be your issue. You may need to go see a specialist if you can't figure it out.

Motor works only if I give power supply from other source like car battery or something like that. Another question is the sunshade have it own motor ? Thanks for answer ![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)

Ok so no power to the motor at all. Then take your switch down and with the car started check for power into the switch if there's power to the switch change the switch or clean it. If there's no power to the switch then you need to go down to the fuse and check it.

I tested the button with multimeter and it looks fine, fuses also fine. Maybe I checked the wrong ones
