My wife was driving to the supermarket yesterday when another driver decided he wanted to be in her lane! Luckily she wasn't hurt, just scared and our car now looks like this at two months old!

Airbags did not go off. He just drifted into her lane made contact, primarily with his tire and hubcap, and then corrected. So as flyingpuck stated it was like a NASCAR "rub" . He was driving a RENTAL Toyota RAV 4, as he had another accident the week prior.

He has insurance although (imagine this) he says my wife drifted into his lane! Although you can tell from his tire mark that there is a forward bias to the marking, which would indicate a right angle bias of the front tire. So the claim should be interesting to say the least!

I ride a Cannondale Super Six, great bike.

Sounds like a careful driver.

Yes, I can imagine that! My son was slowing down for a yellow/red light and the car behind him was going to try to run the light. He rear-ended my son's car (VW Jetta) which was totaled. The other driver asked my son why he stopped for a green light. Also, the impact caused my son's eyeglasses to get knocked off, the other driver asked my son why he was driving without his glasses on. Luckily the police gave the other guy a ticket and his insurance covered all costs. No one was injured.

Yes, I was very thankful all that happened was a little anxiety for my wife.
I am going to use Arrow Glen Auto Repair (they are a certified BMW repair shop and the shop referred by Savage BMW) in Glendora. It sounds pretty straight forward.

On another note, Has anybody had any experience with repairs when blending Alpine White paint? I am assuming it will be a pretty easy blend?
