Thanks to the wisdom that you guys provided, (see the post 4 down from here) my Wife changed her mind about the Titanium grey/grey interior.

What she finally settled on is the Monaco Blue exterior with Auburn interior. It's a bit unusual but with the black carpeting that comes with it we felt it would show less dirt. And the Auburn is a rather rich looking leather. Options ordered are Steptronic, NAV, Comfort seats, Park distance, & Premium Package. Did not get cold weather because it is garaged. Was tempted by Comfort Access but didn't go for it.

Quick question: Is the BMW tool kit included in the wagon and if so where is it stowed?

The car is being built for me. So now starts the 8 weeks of agonizing wait.

All comments are welcome and appreciated.

Havent seen your previous post but the color combo u ordered is perfect. I love the auburn leather and in combination with the Monaco blue its really perfect. Good choice. Much better than the Silver/Grey combination. Grey interiors are not ok.

Welcome!! Monacco blue is a very nice colour; I'm sure you'll enjoy the new car! The traditional BMW toolkit is included in the touring, and is stored in a cloth roll behind a trim panel to the left of the boot space IIRC. There's also room there for a small bottle of oil, screenwash and de-icer if needed

HTH

Congrats - good decision.

Although I have a titanium grey car I probably wouldn't choose it again and I wouldn't have it at all with the grey interior - worst colour combo IMO.

Auburn is a bit loud for me ... but it will look classy and not damage re-sale value.

Start counting the days.

On another note - you seem to have had a LOT of BMW's ..... I thought I was bad. I'm going to follow your lead and put my earlier BM's in my sig.

I guess complete quotes are nice since we don't have to go back to the original post to see what's up. Especially when they are spaced so evenly throughout the thread.

I think you will be happy with the color combo, I recently took delivery of a Black Sapphire and Auburn and the combo is great. I also opted for the Anthracite trim which looks great in the car. Good Luck with the waiting.(put the BMWNA 800 # on speed dial!)
