Well, at least I managed to use my car for a whole month without breakdown. Beat that Toyota!

Seriously - I noticed from Day 1 that the car wasn't running smooth when rolling at idle speed, and bearing in mind the injector problem I read some of you other guys with LCI:s have experienced I hoped it was something else... Anyway, as we came home from our trip to Bavaria two days ago, I'm mostly happy that it didn't breakdown during the trip...

I noticed yesterday evening when coming home that the small problem suddenly had became a big one. Below 1500 rpm the car is totally undriveable; it is as if if's struggling on with 3-4 cyls. And I cannot negotiate through the traffic in Copenhagen on Monday so the car had to go. Which ment BMW Assistance. Which gives me a reason to start another thread...

I want those wheels on my car! However we only get a xiT here in the states and the 172's don't fit properly - I think the offset is too much.
Anyway, I hope your situation is resolved quickly.

Apparently it's not the injector problem, but the "AGR valve" which is there for reducing emissions. Car's not back yet though...

Sorry to hear you have problems

Have they given you an interesting courtesy car at least whilst you are waiting?

(p.s. still really loving that colour & wheel combo of yours )

No, it's a 523iA, orientblau, Dakota Schwarz. OK, but I really hate those 16" standard wheels. Yike.
