Hi,
I'm looking to buy a good set of Spider style wheels that look as good as the originals but cheaper.
Anybody have any ideas where I could purchase some?

My Ride: 2005 E61 525d M-Sport, Titanium Silver, Black Dakota Leather, Media Pack, Sun Protection Glass, M6 Staggered Alloys, ACS Rear Diffuser, EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads, I-Pod Interface. Rear Aux Power DIY, LCI Rear Lights, Extended interior lights - doors and footwells, LED licence plate lights.
With the E61 you need to be careful about the offsets you use on the rear wheels if you want a staggared setup i.e wider rears. The E60 saloon Spider M172 wheels have a rear offset of ET32 which will rub on the E61, but will fit okay if you use a 15mm spacer to reduce the offset to ET17.
This guy here (Mark) BM Autosport sells used / refurbished genuine alloys and also replicas. I bought a set of M167 M6 wheels from Mark and I am very happy with them, they transform the look of the car and I lost the horrible run flats!!
I considered M172's for a long time, but the M6 wheels go straight on without spacers plus they are much easier to keep clean making them a better choice IMO.
His refurbed Spider wheels sell quite quickly, so you would need to check his website regularly to see what stock he has.
