I finally picked up my 530d Touring (Nov-06). Made some quick shots of it and just thought I'd share my pride with my fellow board members.

Hope you enjoy them!

Congrats on the new ride ... looks good! Did you have any joy with the sale of the previous car?

Hi MacSid,

Also up early!

Thanks for the compliment! It went well. I picked up the new Touring yesterday, and on the way back, someone called me for the 'old' one. He came to look at it and he bought it instantly.

To be honest, I sorta miss the dynamic drive and AFS of the other one. The Touring really feels much heavier in corners and I have to stear a lot more due to the lack of AFS! On the other hand, the '07 gearbox is really a lot better!!

Thanks all, for the positive response

The Touring is doing a great job. I'm currently in Brugge, Belgium with the Mrs. (and even now I'm checking the E60 forum in the hotel room ) and already drove over 500 km!
I'm really liking the new auto transmission and I (alsmost) don't mis the AFS anymore....

That isn't an LCI model -- it has the pre-LCI shifter / rear lights / alu-cube trim / etc.

He probably drank to much Belgian beer before writing his comment above about the new auto
