The problem is that the car comes ALREADY equipped with a BIGGER underplate (whihc is for other countries licenses).
As we cannot modify our license, the only thing to do is to find some bottons in the same color of the car to cover those 4 holes you leave on the bumper when you remove the bigger license plate.
I really cannot imagine where could I find those bottons.
Any suggestion?
Thanks

Find a bigger plate, paint it in body colour and stick it on behind the original plate, will that work

Can't you put the rear plate on the front? Is the same thing only bigger

Italian regulations on the subject rule the dimensions of the front and back plates and they cannot change.
The solutions could be only two:

1. Remove the small license support plate and install the license directly onto the bigger support BUT we have to find some "covering plates" for the left and right portions of the bigger support license plate in order to cover those holes and screws.

2. Remove the Bigger support license plate and install the smaller plate directly onto the bumper BUT we have to find some coverings to the little holes left by the old support screws on the left and right of the plate.

Any other suggestion?.

Do you have notice on any plate (for the bigger support) to be modified in order to contain the smaller license?
We could install that plate on the bigger support and then the license in the center.

Well don't really know too much from Italy, in HK the regulation for the plate is white in the front and yellow on the rear. No specific size and we can have any shop outside to do it for us (not government issue) so that's why I am saying that if you can find some plastic, paint it in body colour and put it on the big support and mount your small plate right in the centre, at least is better looking than with the holes.

I am surprise to see that BMW in Itatly does such a bad job on the plate support thing. Really ruin the look of the M kit and bad taste I mean they have nice cars like Ferrari there so people there should know a thing or two about nice cars.

I fully agree with you, unfortunately this depends from Germany and probably they do not mind too much about the good taste.

So guys, why don't you help us covering this issue?
Do you suggest using some plates over the left and right sides of the existing smaller license (and then which kind of plates do you suggest?) or would you better suggest to remove that bigger license plate and then cover those little four holes somehow (and them how?).
Thanks
