Ahh - looks just like NC, where I take the Mini for servicing.
I'm in Fleet.
Ordered mine through Drive the Deal, so it'll not be at all local !

Cheers
When I ordered via Drive the Deal the Dealer was in Aberdeen....................long way from Wiltshire. But they messed up my order and I cancelled it in disgust. The deal would have bee very good though.

Spooky..........When we bought my wife a new Honda Civic, the local dealer sourced the model we wanted in stock in......Aberdeen! The poor car was built 15 miles away in Swindon.............trucked 400 miles North only to be turned around and sent back again.

Strange world we live in.

Hi,

Nice pics, congrats on your new owwnership.

Noticed that the OBC estimates that you've got an estimated 399 mls on a full tank. My E61 2.5 OBC on full tank only estimated max 299 mls, I beleive I have a standard 70lt capacity tank. Just wonderng if your model has a larger tank?

Yes, good spot. No larger tank - that estimate soon went down when I drove it home. I put that estimate down to it driven carefully/slowly (thankfully!) in the pre-delivery 1 mile it had on the clock. I don't know the precise method it uses to calculate estimate, but I'm guessing it uses some combination of average and current/instantaneous over the tankful, but with just 1 mile on I'll forgive its optimism - but it did make me laugh at the time.

I'm currently getting just over 24 mp(uk)g in general mixed driving from my last 2 fill-ups (which the OBC is reporting about 99% accurate). This gives a theoretical 70 litre range of 372 miles. So I guess it wasn't too far off. I hope this improves slightly over time. But I'm not expecting the 31mpg BMW report on the combined cycle.

What do you achieve with your 2.5? My previous 325 was the 192bhp version and I got around 26mpg average. I'm hoping to better that with the new engine.

After 1,600 miles I'm currently getting around 28 mpg.

On a longer trip to France and Belgium (lots of motorway) I got the consumption up to 32 mpg.

Great car.
I almost went for this colour too but opted in the end for the Titanium Silver.
Good choice - good driving
