Thank you JAY'545,
Obrigado JoseSportM

So i?m using staggered rims but not tyres, as my rear rims are wider than the front rims but my tyres are the same size! 255/.../19".

Will change this to the right or correct size when they "sing their last song"!

Nice ride!!! Congrats!!!

Here are the side pics of my xi http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...st&p=542355.

Maybe I'm wrong but you might want to check that you can run staggered on the touring, if I recall correctly the rear suspension may prevent staggered setup but forgot if it apply to E61 X-drive family or not.
Thanks
That ET35 and 40 seems to be fine...no rubbing I assume?

There are many e61's with staggered wheel in the forums, so that won't be a problem.

Are there any disadvantages having wider (275) rear tires???

Good looking car definitely! Both BBS LM and CSL-type wheels will look good in your car but this is matter of opinion, of course.

I do not see reason to go for staggered setup with X-drive. With X-drive it's better that all tyres are exactly the same size and you do not need wider tires in back for good grip. I would go for 245/35/19 with et 35-40. I planned that kind of setup, when I replaced my tyres last summer, but after all thinking and planning I voted for ride comfort and got new set in original size.

Link to good visual tyre and wheel calculator: wheel calculator. It gives clear recommendations which setup's might cause problems.

Thanks for the comments guys!

I will try to find out if I can fit all wheels 255/35/19 with ET35. If not then I?ll put 245/35/19 and thats it.
It seems that the ET is not the biggest issue...after reading couple of topics about X-model suspensions I found I was writing BS about getting coilovers to front...

Is really true, that there is still no other solution for us X-drivers than H&R lowering springs???
