So got the time to install to back seats but not the door cards. I am still in a doubt what to do with the interior. Wood or Alu..! I have installed one each so I can look at it for a time. The alu are 450-500 Euro so it is important to get it right :-)

I have looked into the shadow line and it has become a problem. The rear parts are only available with new glass so it is to expensive for me.. I am not a fan of painting it so I will leave the chrome for now!

ALU. I think it matches better with your interior. Makes nice contrast It gives sporty "feeling".

I prefer the alluminium look and IMHO it will complement the sports look you are going for with your car.

With regards to the shadow line, contact Schmiedmann in Denmark. They have the shaddow line advertised for around EUR 180 for the E60, so just ask them if they can source you the E61 shaddow line.

Here are yesterdays progress. Took about 5 hours including coding. Looks pretty straightforward (He knew what he was doing!).. 3 new cables +/- and K-BUS. They need a good clean now but I will get that done this weekend!

The seats are great and I have been doing 300 km today with big joy :-)

The Shadow line must wait until I find it used somewhere cheap. I also need so sort out the interior - the Titan will be reinstalled and the wood are going out!!

I wood go with the Anthracite Maple trims, IMO the Alu one in the long run are quite boring.
One more question, how much did you pay the comfort seats, I am looking to get them as well.
Congrats for the mods.
PS: I might have four Alpina classic II 19" alloy wheels suitable for the E61 for sale. They are in mint conditions.
PM me if interested.

You are right about the maple looks good but I ended up ordering the Alu.. Maybe some day I can find some individual or M5 wood - I do really like some light or reddish interior!

Next mod are know:

HUD
Mirror with lane control and high beam assistant (Got it for a steal on ebay.de 10.5 euro :-) )

Got the Alpina spoiler on its way from Germany

WOW! I'm so inspired right now

How much did the CCC, Monitor and controller cost you? I really want to retrofit that in my car as well.
