It has taken a while, but here are some pics of my E61 520d.
These are the most important options:
Titan grey 2 with truffle-brown leather interior
Panoramic open roof, heated seats, PDC, xenon, prof GPS, voice control + bluetooth, extended airco.
The pictures have been taken during my holiday in Austria.
Pitty that my bike was on the towbar, driving the autobahn without being able to push it is frustrating.

These rims will become my winter setup. After the winter I'm probably buying 18 inch 166 replicas.

Nice car, there are not many 520d's that have this much options. The car needs some nice wheels !

Nice color too

That is a nicely optioned E61! Well done!

And I have to agree about the color - I like it.

Now, post some pics of the interior!

Nice spec and colour combo

The M166 style will go nicely with your car, even though I think you should get 19s instead of 18s

Thanks everyone.
I'll try to take some pictures of the interior soon.
The option list is indeed quite long for a 520d, that's also one of the reasons that I bought this one.
I would love to have 19s, but I'm a bit afraid to compromise the usability and comfort with anything bigger than 18s.
That's also the main reason that I haven't lowered the car.

Don't worry, the ride-comfort has not changed since I traded the original 17rtf's for normal 19" tires.

Mine is running 16s non-rft, so I think I will feel the change.

Yes you will - but it's not that bad actually. I run on 19" myself and the ride is firm but not harsh at all. 18" is absolutely fine on the E61. Please keep us informed what you buy.

To state the absolute obvious, its all about the tyres. Since running non-RFT tyres I have been happy with the ride, but I also want a firm / sporting ride. I had Michalin PS2s on my M166s and now have Dunlop SportMaxx on my M172s. The Michalins were more comfortable due to the tyre wall being softer, however the Dunlops have a thicker side wall which gives more protection for the rim... essential with Mrs xBMWx

You should probably test drive a car with 19" non-RFTs. Simply go down to your dealer and sind a 5er M-Sport on M172s.
