My dealer called me that my car arrived at the showroom today.
It'll be ready on Wednesday but I can't wait to see it in person so I'll head to my dealer within a few hours.
Offcourse I'll take some pics so I was wondering if you guys want to see some specific pics of the car?
If so then let me know
It has got all options except ACC and active steering since I don't like both.

Just back from the dealer and all I can say is wow...
Can't wait to take the car home!
Too bad that the dealer (or factory) made a small error and fitted the car with sport seats instead of comfort seats so they will need to be retrofitted .
Anyone here who thinks that I should keep the sport seats?
Some pics....

Well, first of all, congrats, I can understand how you feel 'cause I am gonna feel the same within three days (wednesday, I think ).

Then, even though Comfort Seats are more comfortable, I suggest you to keep the sport seats just because I wouldn't trust in a dealer retrofitting work.

Changing Sport seats to Comfort implies a lot of work (with electronics and so on).

I simply wouldn't like my car to be undressed five minutes after beeing delivered.

Anyway, really congrats.
It's wonderful.

I agree 100% with what Luke is saying. I am also waiting my E61 to be delivered in the next days and I also take the M-tech. I am going with sport seats without any doubt. Check the following linkcomfort seat versus sport seat

Same for me. I get my E61 M-Package next week with sport seats. Comfort are much better, but not worth the money for me. It would be different if I would permanentely have long distance trips to drive.

Thanks for all the replies!
However.... I'm going to let them retrofit the comfort seats, I have paid for them so why not .
I have sport seats in my X5 and comfort seats in my 730d and the difference between those two seats is enormous, I know that the X5 sport seats aren't the same as those in the E61 5 series but still I like the comfort seats so much better.
The dealer told me that it isn't a problem at all to retrofit them and it only involves a software update, all the wires, etc. are exactly the same on both the sport and comfort seats.
They'll let me drive with the sport seats untill they have received the comfort seats so I'll have enough time to try and feel the difference
