Just had my car MP3 enabled, CIP software download.

But I burnt a CD with some MP3 tracks.

The tracks play but the I-Drive display just says Track 1, 2, 3, etc

Is this right?

It should show track names -- did you carefully follow the instructions in the following thread?:

Sometimes the way you burn it will affect how the titles show up, etc.

Just got my sw updated to solve an idrive continual reboot problem and requested that MP3 capability be added. It was done for free and works just fine. I didn't go anything special when writing the CD and can see album names (as subdirectories) and track names just fine.

+1 I just use the Windows XP default CD burner and I get album names and song titles without any problem as well.

All working now.

Gateway 500 installed - hours of pleasure from my iPod although navigating tracks with iDrive best not attempted whilst driving!
