Hi
Been looking about on the internet and have found this place and what a fab resource it is too!! Anyway I have an E61 535d Sport and have the opportunity of getting a set of genuine E60 M5 Alloys for a song my question is will they fit? They are F8.5x19 ET21 and R9.5x19 ET18. It is a really good price and may be worth it instead of going down the ACS or Hartge route....

Hi Barry:

So you are considering purchasing some new BMW M5 rims for you new E61 535id? You know the BMW 535id is a fine ride! Now I need to know ask you few questions first, before I attempt to give you a answer

Are these BMW OEM 19 inch M5 rims, or a third party BMW M5 19 inch replica rims from company, i.e. "The Wheel Exchange, "Triple AAA rims", etc?

Later,

I thought the E61 has the same size rims on all four corners, whereas the saloon and the M5 have a staggered set-up... something to do with the different rear suspension set up on the Touring. I suppose you'll just need to get four 'front' rims.

Hi rs4_barry ! !

WOW! What BMW dealer did you purchase them from? My BMW dealer here in Atlanta has not got them yet! If you can give us a hyperlink...so we can see them! : )

I have looked high and low for a BMW dealer that has them here in the US and I can't fine one, they keeping telling me BMW NA has not released to them the new style M5 rim to them yet...I just keep hearing they will sometime this year! : (

Thanks in advance!

I reckon the 9.5x19 rears should fit though as ACS are fitting this size to the rear of E61's - I just need to confirm it though!!!
