Sorry for the late reply but I did not see your question untill today.
You can get it from every BMW dealer. However thew German and Austrian verison, compared to the italian, includes the code nos and the prices. I think it is possible to download it also from the Italian BMW's web page.

I have my dealer in Germany install them on my new 535D E60. All functions working...
It cost me approx. EUR1400 including paint and install but I guess he kept the stock ones.
Sorry I do not know how he got them but I understand that was not as yet outright easy.

Thx Igor, nice car.
Could you please measure how wide is the car with folded in mirrors. I have the impression that it is wider than the stock folded, and mine has mm from the damn old entrance of the garage...
folded in is now 185cm.

Hi Igor, tell me about your BMW-9 picture (from your link: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?act=module...lbum&album=535). I'm talking about the squared off section where the license plate goes on the trunk lid and the fact that there's no key hole. All the cars I've seen have a shallower "license plate pan"
Your car looks great by the way.

Could you please measure how wide is the car with folded in mirrors. I have the impression that it is wider than the stock folded, and mine has mm from the damn old entrance of the garage...
folded in is now 185cm.
Hi ats77,
It is very difficult to take measury exactly the width of the whole car. I am afarid to make a mistake on that. But I have measured the folded mirror itself. It adds 15 cm to width of the car at the point where the foot of the mirror joins the body of the car.
Cheers
Guess Santiago you refer to his M5 trunk lid finsiher, order it by your dealer it is a must for all e60s makes it more smooths and does not cost much.
Correct
330 EUR for me painted and installed.
you may laugh, BUT the garage I have is an old-fashioned, and very narrow entrance then inside it is 40cm larger...
so my car we measured with the dealer, as from the tip of the FOLDED mirror we measured the car?s width all the way to the outer side of the car?s mirror and it is 185cm , if it is open 205cm. So when I enter with the front of my car the garage, I have to stop push the fold button and then go in, stop for a while and open again to see that big a$$ behind me... That's why is was curious, so now I will have to measure the mirror the sameway you did. THX

Thx Igor,
I will take the discussion with the dealer and see what he is saying. Just before delivering the car the dealer tried to see whether the mirrors are the same comparing them with the mirrors of an M5 that had in the shop. He told me that the switch should be possible but he doesn't know about the function as the normal have three wires coming out the M5 have a bunch of wires. However I will be in Munich in 10 days time so in case I will bother directly the BMW Niederlassung.
