Default m sport boot badge location on an e61 boot

Hi all . I have a e61 m sport and have bought a boot badge for it but wondered if it should go on the right hand side next to the 520d badge or on the left hand side as I have seen both on other cars thanks

What does the badge say? I thought all badges with numbers go on the right and anything like Dinan goes on left.

In all actuality there was no M520d so you can put it where you want to. The M is only for the M5 on the E series. Msport has never had a M designation for the boot.

The E6X never came with a "///M" badge on the rear except for only M5. All E6X M-sport cars had it on the wheels, door sill and steering wheel cover. Personally I would just have it on your desk as a badge to look at as it will look off on the boot.
