Looking at adding another E61 to the fleet
#1
So we stopped at a dealership of certain Swedish automaker known for its wagons, pulling up in our '06 E61. The salesman says "We just took one of those in as a trade. It's a six-speed."
There, sitting on the lot, is an '08 Space Gray 535xi 6-speed E61 premium package with Nav. It has 21,000 miles on it.
My 530xiT has never been disappointing and the dealer just replaced the CCC under warranty, which made a big difference in the performance of that whole subsystem.
I'm really tempted. There's a year left on the "new" car's warranty.
The bizarreness of this is that I could end up with two E61s and and E39 wagon, two of which are stick shifts.
And then there's my 335i coupe, also a six-speed.
Does anyone have insight about reliability, foibles, etc. of the '08?
Thanks.
