Load cover release
Hi,
I have searched but dont realy know what these are called so found nothing helpfull??They are the catches that release the load cover when i open the rear window/tailgate which ware not working, i removed the trim and found one had stripped the brass pinion and the other had been wired the wrong way round?? i called my local dealer and was told they where not available on their own, you need to buy the whole trim which is aprox £120!!! Does anyone know where i might get one (passenger side) i have tried everywhere but to no avail

Just info for anyone else who has problems with this, i found the only way round it (other than spending £120) was to buy a second hand trim piece which i got from Germany via Ebay £31 delivered. I just removed the bit i needed as the trim piece was black. Its also worth mentioning that the face lift version is different and wont fit, although this was not a problem as i only need the motor which will swap over, so its all working nicely now.

good work Phil.... a bit late but a few people have replaced the motor with a cheap ebay version - the motor itself is nothing out of the ordinary, issue is getting the correct gear on the shaft...
