LeMans Blue E61

The LeMan Blue looks light during the day, but at night it takes on a three-dimensional quality and looks like a dark blue. At night or in low lighting it looks completely different colour - actually much better.
The inside is black, which is a pain to keep clean, beige leather is much easier to keep tidy.
All my previous BMW's were solid black with black leather inside (except one in beige) - like a Batman car !!!
But I got fed-up with black and the BMW guys told me LeMan was very desirable and popular. The other choice I had was grey, but that looked too business like.
Ideally I wanted privacy glass, but might fit some light tints later, plus HID kit, plus Ipod inteface . Already has business nav, media pack, service plus pack.
Personally, I would have traded the nav for bluetooth because I always use a top-range Tom Tom which is better than the BMW nav and has audible speed camera alert system. I will check the TCU in the trunk later to see if it has Bluetooth fitted but not enabled / programed.

Was never sure about the LeMans Blue colour. I tihnk I prefer the deep blue instead. Too late now I have the car, but next time may be on the F10 Touring !!!

My 530d M Sport saloon is Le Mans blue with blue leather (Le Mans Special Edition),my wife's is a 525d M Sport saloon in Le Mans blue with black Dakota leather.The colour is fantastic in sunlight,in poor light it seems a shade darker,but I would not go for a darker colour for the E60.
But then I guess poeple (like me) go for all black - solid black and black leather !!!

Hi All
First post so can't believe we're talkng about Le Mans Blue!! I bought an E61 about a month ago in this colour with a biege interior. Looks great on the 19" rims.
I've even taken in to Germany and let the horses out on the autobahn. Fantastic.

Welcome to the forum.
Nice wagon you have got there, what is it, 530d, 530i, 535d or 550i?
Post more photos, is not that often to be seen an E61 in Le Mans Blue.
