Hi everybody, have problem with my E61, this issue has been since i buy this car, my interior lights come on when i open the door but don't turn off when the doors are closed. i must press the main light switch everytime when i get in to the car, otherwise my interior lights never turning off. I know about disabling light with pressing for 5 seconds the main switch but i want to fix this. Maybe someone in this forum had similar problem ?
I think about replace light module or check door lock sensors in every door. But don't know how i can check this, INPA can show door lock sensors status ?
On this video (is not mine) is literally the same problem:

It may be a issue with the footwell module. Check INPA to see is there are any codes. Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 20 mins to see if it resets the FRM

My car stay two days without battery and nothing was change
INPA show only few erros but nothing related to this problem, have fault code from AHL (probably fault diode) but this error can't doing this issue

My car dings when I drive with the door open so if just your lights are on, and no door chime, I think it's something in the interior switch or more likely the light module. I haven't looked at that module specifically with INPA/ISTA but usually you can monitor the inputs and see if something is telling it to turn on.
