Advice please: I really like the Beige dakota leather but not convinced it contrasts well with Mystic Blue extrerior. Therefore also considering gery dakota leather instead. Black is too dark for me. Will go with wood trim; what's best combo dark, light or maple poplar? Any comments from owners with previous experience?

I think beige contrasts very well with mystic blue, very nice combo.
But what i think is the best combo is mystic blue with auburn leather, very, very nice and original.

I agree Auburn is amazing on Mystic Blue, with beige a second choice. Grey is simply too drab for my tastes. Auburn is out there a bit but would seperate you from everyone else. I wanted beige for my Monaco Blue to contrast the dark exterior. The shimmer of Mystic Blue doesn't need a light interior. Look in Gallery for members pics, I've seen this combo there.

I love the auburn leather - think its a great choice and looks / feels fantastic.

On the other hand side - I had beige leather in a previous BMW and although it looks great from the outside it just felt too 'bright' when sitting inside and 'non-BMW' to me.

All of that is of course highly subjective !

That's what mine is and I love it - besides everyone comments how good looking it is - the contrast between the blue and the brown leather and then the interior itself, the brown leather and the black trim - it is unbeatable.

I have mystic blue and beige - looks great. All the brochure shots were beige interior for the Touring when first launched.
Forget grey - its too, well, grey !

If you aren't worried about dirt etc... get the beige - it's gonna look great with the blue (I had a blue / beige e46 touring)

Grey isn't going to look as special...

I've got the dark poplar, but it might be a bit heavy for the beige.... I'm thinking light poplar might be best.....

I don't think the Auburn goes with Mystic Blue. Would be great with black but not blue. So It's beige or grey. Which one's best?
