HUD missing in I drive

reading this forum for last couple of weeks, and it is so great....
I bought my 535d 05 reg estate couple of weeks ago and it is amazing, but I have so many question so lets start with those two:
1. When I was driving this amazing car first time, I had an option in I drive to set up the HUD and this is missing now - any idea?
Can the I drive loose coding and be in some "emergency mode"?
2. When I start using my CD changer it was always rebooting when I unlock the car and start playing from CD1 - is this normal or there is something wrong?
