Hey new E61 owner here. Looking for some advice/ introducing myself.
Hi my names scott, I live in the Uk.
Here's my 525D auto its currently on 274k miles or 440k KM, its got a few niggly faults like anti trap and some bulb warnings but overall its in good condition.
My spec.
Any ideas on what i should look out for in terms of long term ownerships ?

I don't see a panoramic roof listed, otherwise I'd say check your drain lines. That said, check the engine compartment drains near the firewall to ensure they're not clogged. Otherwise, gaskets on these things always leak pretty much everywhere.
That said, what's the interior look like?

Aha cheers, I swapped a mk4 mondeo probably known as a fusion type car in the usa for it, Not bad for a 274k !!! pretty clean.

I'm not seeing a pano roof (jealous) so the majority of expensive issues you don't need to worry about.
Next up is to check the tailgate hinge wiring and assume you'll need to repair both sides.
