Default Hey new E61 owner here. Looking for some advice/ introducing myself.

Hi my names scott, I live in the Uk.
Here's my 525D auto its currently on 274k miles or 440k KM, its got a few niggly faults like anti trap and some bulb warnings but overall its in good condition.

My spec.

Any ideas on what i should look out for in terms of long term ownerships ?

I don't see a panoramic roof listed, otherwise I'd say check your drain lines. That said, check the engine compartment drains near the firewall to ensure they're not clogged. Otherwise, gaskets on these things always leak pretty much everywhere.
That said, what's the interior look like?

Pretty spiffy! Steering wheel seems to be on the wrong side though. Socket wrench and a couple 'spanners' should fix that.

What happened to the rear window wiper? Previous owner did some pull ups with it?

I'm not seeing a pano roof (jealous) so the majority of expensive issues you don't need to worry about.

Next up is to check the tailgate hinge wiring and assume you'll need to repair both sides.

I got this one for $20 last November and I have no complaints. It is the entire arm assembly and a new wiper blade.
