My Ride: 08 535xiT - Sapphire Black / Beige
Looking to buy a set of OEM 189 rims for my wagon. They came off a 2009 335i, sizes are:
Fronts:
Wheels: 18x8", offset: 34
Tires: 225/40-R18
Rears:
Wheels: 18x8.5", offset: 37
Tires: 255/35-R18
From doing searches on here, seems like they will fit and shouldn't need spacers, hub centric rings, etc. Can you anyone confirm that for me? Anyone already done it and have pics?
TIA

I have the same wheels/ offsets on my 528xi with no problems. Tires are E90 size rather than E60 size, but if the overall diameter is within 1% you should be fine. 189's look like the 246 sport pkg wheels for the 528, too!

The wheels will fit fine. BUT, the load capacity of the tires for the 3er is less than that for your 5'er. You might be OK without passengers or cargo but I think your touring needs proper rubber.

Thanks guys. Actually don't want the tires since they are RFTs, so will swap them out and try to sell em or something as they are pretty much brand new [less than 1k miles]

My Ride: 06' 530xi E61 Saphire Black / Dakota Black - aluminum
11' A4 Avant 2.0T Brilliant Black / Black - aluminum
As others have replied the wheels will fit no issue at all the tires sell or get rid of them.

Even better, get out in the rain, at night, on a dangerous road, do your best to not get killed, and dig your crap out of the cargo space to get to the silly POS spare. Hopefully the flat will be on the non-traffic side of the car. After all that, be sure you don't need to be anywhere any time soon or far away.
Nah, RFT are really silly and so are full size spares....

Jwest, drive RFT's on New York City roads and you'll see why I don't want them, teeth rattling ride. Didn't say they were stupid, just said they're not for me.

I've driven all sorts of roads around the country, including nyc area. I recall 19" on an e93 being pretty stiff but I didn't mind it either. I've read some of the newer designs are more supple though.
sorry for posting so sarcastically..
