Fellows, I have been experiencing a nasty Battery drain on my car and is driving me nuts. I will be driving fine and go to a place, turn OFF the car , go do my work and come back and Car won't start because battery is drained down below 10 Volt. I had taken the car to a BIMMER shop and they told me it was the MPM module in the trunk. Car was fine for a couple of days and again its doing the same thing. I inspected all the modules in the Trunk and cleaned them up. I also relocated them.
Battery is brand new. Alternator is putting 14.4VDC when its charging.
I even installed a SHUNT in Series with the negative battery wire and When I shut the car off, I watch the module shut down current that drops to 40ma. 40mA is not going to drain my battery. I have not determined if the IBS is the issue.

One crazy thing I have noticed is that once in a blue moon, my Right side passenger door window won't go up or down. And also today I noticed that when I opened the Right side passenger door, My battery voltage dropped down to 9.8 Volts. Just I have not really get a constancy to say the door is the problem., I have been having nothing but electrical issues with this car. Also, this issue does not show up as often if I park my car Flat or Downward angle like my rear of the car a little higher than the front.

Are there any Computer modules inside the right side door that is prone to water damage and corrosion? Any other place i should look?. I have already repaired the hatch wiring harness problem.

Personally I would shut the car down and test fuses. Seems like you've done a few things but you're going to waist a lot of time and money tracking it down unless you start probing.

Problem I have is there is no high Current when I am around. I am thinking putting some kind of data logger on it to see if it wakes up when I am not around.

Or buy a BMW Code reader.

Most I've owned will show a histogram of the battery charge status (and display faulty modules to boot).

I have access to INPA but not ISTA. I also have a foxwell. INPA does have some kind of energy management tool.

I am wondering if it has something to do with my Air bag modules. I have the following codes.

Why would you say it has something to do with the airbag module?

I'm looking at all these codes and it seems like something electrical is going on. Are you sure the battery is good? It would coded and registered correctly. I would clear all codes and dive it for a day and see what comes back to narrow things down.

I am going through these codes one by one. The Reason why I am suspecting the module if any on the passenger Door is that When I open and close that door, this failure seems to show up. I also have the Air bag light on with the Seat belt Red light. At first I thought it had something to do with the occupancy sensor but the more I think about it is the Air bag module or some kind of module in that door.
The interesting part is that if I park the car backward in my drive way with slight incline, this problem does not show up but if I pull in with Engines side higher than the tail, it seems to show up.

I tried using INPA to register the battery, it would not let me and give me an error. I am not sure if my car does not have this feature or I am doing something wrong.

This weekend, I will try to put a data logger on my car and play with the doors on the right side of the car.
I also found a burned up module 61357188110-01 which it was in my trunk tire space. At first I thought I found it but long after I pulled the module out, that issue still showed up. I am not 100% sure what this module exactly does other than I saw Hatch Control Unit on one of the websites. Right now that module is not in.

Another Suspect is the Rear Air suspension. I am keeping an eye on it.

I can't believe the amount of issues this car has with electrical end. I am using it to commute to work and it is smooth as hell. 26mpg. One by one, I will find them hopefully. I really want to learn how to code these modules myself. Still learning the methods.

You probably have some wiring harness issues (exposed wires).

I am not sure? I am still learning what this car has. Freaking very cold outside to work on this car right now.
