Good morning everyone,

I got a chance to buy a set of style 166 powdercoated for 1400?.
the sizes are 8,5x19 et 12 and 9,5x19 et28.

I've seen quite a lot e61 drivers with style 166's on their cars, but what kind of et's do they have?

I think I need spacers, at least 10mm each side for the rear, am I right?

member Tiago's regarding the correct tire size for 19" wheels:

https://5series.net/forums/topic/545..._fromsearch__1

reason why I am linking this thread is he has an e61 and he mounted 167's on his e61, no spacers needed..

167 rear offsets are ET17, 166 M5 spec rear offsets are ET28. So doing the math, with 10mm spacers you'd be at an ET of 18 in the rear, sounds good to me....

Ok thanks,

I will try to buy the rims, they are very nice and had been shortly painted gloss black, then I will add spacers in the rear.
What do you think about the front? should I go with 5mm each side?

BTW: Is there a difference between ET17 and 28 in terms of concavity? I Mean, with et28 the rim will sit much more to the inner than a rim with et17.
Please give me a hint

I need a quick hint, plz help me guys,
I'm about to pull the trigger on these and I need to know if the rims for M5 are the same as for M6 in case of concavity.
are M6 rims(et17) more concave than M5 rims(et28)?

thanks in advance
Ivano
