fm ariel location on touring

Hi All,
Really daft on this but I'm looking to fit an in-line FM modulator to connect my ipod ... problem is I can't find where the ariel is connected ? is it in the boot (trunk) or behind the dash ?
Any clues or even better a wiring diagram.
