I have the optional removable tow bar on my e61 msport. How do i get the bumper / fender cover off to put the tow bar on ?

I looked under the car and pulled the cover every way I could but cannot remove it. There are no screws or clips I can see either. It's pretty well secured in place. Any help or techniques to remove it would be appreciated. As I said it's an m sport rear bumper / fender.

Here's a photo of the removed cover with the leading edge (towards the front of the car) nearest to the camera.

Put your finger tips in the recess in the centre of the front edge and gently pull back to flex the latches towards the back of the car and then pull the cover down. The trailing edge acts a bit like a hinge. It's quite secure but doesn't need a lot of force.

Ah...OK I can see from the pic how the thing comes off now !

I wondered what that corrugated lip was that I could feel at the rear of the cover, firm your pic it's obvious how to remove it. Thanks again for the guidance.
