I have a 535d touring with M-Tech package. So, which is the better route to lower a M sport suspension and to keep the same ride quality?

Everyone here says Eibach Pro kit. I've got the H&R Sport springs. I haven't done a side-by-side comparison, but I do know the drop with H&R is a little bit more aggresive: 1.3"(front) and 1.2"(rear) whereas Eibach is: 1.2"(front and rear). These numbers are for the 545i. I don't know what they would be for the 535d touring.

Hi J

I think everyone here says H&R
I've got the Eibach. The seller here (who sells H&R also) told me that there is not any visible difference between them. The only difference is that the eibach is just a little softer than H&R.
That means that H&R is wear out the wheel (stretching the rim) more than the shock and the Eibach is wearing out the shock (longer recoils) more than the wheel.

H&R as i've seen. I'm planning of buying the race editiond although i really have second thoughts about it.

That means that H&R is wear out the wheel (stretching the rim) more than the shock and the Eibach is wearing out the shock (longer recoils) more than the wheel.

Now i'm confused. So you're saying that the H&R can put more "stress" on the wheel ,while the Eibach puts more on the shocks?

No stretch, It wears out the shock earlier than the H&R by the longer recoils it allows (as softer).
Talking about minimal difference, but it exists.

It's my point of view and the reason I've choosed the Eibachs.

I prefair to chance the shocks 2 months earlier in a 3 years term, than to curve or brake my beautiful, lovely rims

I went with the eibach route. It lowered so far 20mm. Now i'm still deciding if i will lower the rear 20mm too or leave it like this: 660mm at front and 680mm at rear (measures are from the ground to the fenders, from the middle of the wheels). What do you think?
About the ride quality it is a bit stiff compared to stock, but it is very acceptable.
