Any one got any Performance sway bars for the 530XI with sport and LL in the rear?
I had ARS on my Sedan and would like a bit firmer ride than the stock Sport stuff...
Thanks in advance

I replaced my rear anti-sway bar with one from an E60 M5.
Nothing done in the front.

guys I thought the anti-sway bar only affects the body roll in curves, i.e. not the firmness of the ride? am I wrong?
bigbadbull, would you not need stiffer springs and sport shocks to achieve firm ride?
Patrick, what was the actual effect of the M5 anti-sway bar on your suspension?
FYI: I personally was hoping to be able to achieve less body roll with my current sport-adjustment-OEM setting, without dropping the car or using sport springs/shocks, due to bad roads in my area.
I was even considering the possibility of putting an anti-sway bar and using softer springs - do you think I will achieve anything sensible that way?

No I'm looking for stiffness in the turns...
I understand the KW coil overs are the way to go for ride stiffness but I'm talking about the roll of the car in turns....
Also will the M5 spec Rear sway fit on a Xi AWD drive train?

ok so we have the same objective - I call the stiffness in turns "reduced body roll" and I have the impression this is the more commonly used term, but I could be wrong on that..
Guys has anyone else out there tried reducing body roll via anti-sway bar?
I know that AC Schnitzer offers anti-sway bars for the E60/61 but dont know how comparable they are to the M5 ones..

So Bruce , any clue if they will fit with the AWD system? That would be my concern. Thank you though.

I just linked to that document because I thought it was very helpful when I first saw it and surprised myself just now that I was able to locate again.

softer or standard front leads to more grip over a harder tail so more oversteer produced... however I did replace the rear only as well (had like 12mm funny looking soft piece of wire) with some 16mm from 535d... it is noticable but I have M5 front one ready and I am putting it on with lowered Eibach front coils on spring
