Sounds like Matt nailed it on our cars. Makes me wonder what he would think with some big light wheels and sticky rubber. And some decent brake pads. My 20" M359s with good rubber has transformed it for those kind of roads. And of course I would love to have 410hp! The torque would be shitloads of fun. Overall he was quite enthusiastic.

Too bad he didn't drive Evan's (ucsbwsr) car, as an example of what is the ultimate wagon! He'd have been blown away.

PS Where did the owner come up with the 4600 lb weight number? Car's listed at around 4150 lbs in many publications I've read, including the brochure.

@10:25: I like the whole part, "there are only 200 of them (manuals) ... and if you can find one, those people probably know what they have!"

I will be signing up for the One Take soon, I think the waiting list is crazy long, like 8 months or something, that should be enough time to get my wagon sorted.

Sam may have gotten that weight figure from me since my wagon with myself behind the wheel came in at 4,600lbs and I have used that figure more than once (I always specify that the figure includes my body weight). Sam's E61 was probably a little over that with both of them in there! lol

Nice! Maybe looking at what your car can do, they'll bump you up a few spots!

I think he should have mentioned the official weight of the car, so it was apples to apples with other cars' published numbers. This way, it makes the wagon sound like a porker SUV, when it weighs pretty much the same as the 5 sedan, and is quite nimble.
