What cars are on your short list to replace your e61? My 07 just turned 60k miles. I have no reason to get rid of it other than to just change things up. My list is A6, S6, Cayenne. My wife drives a Q7 so I think I can get away with a sedan. Or, maybe I stay the course.
Btw, my 08 X5 4.8 had tranny issues at 64k so I got rid of it in Nov for the Q7. The e61 was my wife's until then. Now I drive it. Just getting itchy I guess.
Thanks a lot!

Pretty good choices there Puzz1, but I would add newer 5/7 to the list. An Alpina B7 couple years old certified pre-owned would be awesome. On my own short list is A4 waggy, F30 328 waggy. I need the dog hauler.

I just crossed 60k miles this winter, I also have a 2007. I contemplated changing last summer but I still love the E61. I find it looks great (aged very well), good size for the family and a solid build & feel. Yes, it cost me some $$$ to maintain it but it is worth every penny.
If I had to change I would go Mercedes E-Class Estate.
